Repairing Outlook 2007 PST which has corrupted on adding contacts using mail merge feature. ?

I have upgraded my old Outlook 2003 with Outlook 2007 just a week ago and it is working fine. I have sent and received some of the important mails and I have noticed not a single problem. But last night when I tried to insert some of the important contacts from Outlook PST file using the Mail Merge Feature in one of the MS Word document the procedure failed with a Data Link properties dialog box saying that the attempt of adding the contact has failed. Soon after the message the PST file becomes inaccessible and I am not able to access a single data from it. I don’t know what to do, please help me to access and recover my lost and deleted data from the PST file. Any help or suggestion in this regard will greatly be appreciated, thanks in advance.

sahilkumar 		Actually Microsoft Outlook uses Microsoft Data Access Component to access its data store i.e. PST. In case your Outlook profile gets damaged or PST file gets corrupted due to network sharing, unexpected shutdown and other similar reasons you may experience this kind of behavior while adding contacts to the mail merge document. So, in order to resolve this issue you need to install Microsoft Data Access Component which will resolve the associated components issue. Deleting the corrupt user profile and creating the new one will surely resolve this issue. If the problem persists then use Outlook’s inbuilt utility Scanpst.exe tool to resolve the issue. If this tool also fails to repair the corrupt PST file and resolve the issue then in order to make the Outlook work and to repair and recover the PST data you need to use third party Outlook 2007 Repair software which will effectively scan the entire PST file and will repair and recover the damaged PST file and will make it accessible.
