Can “Task ‘Microsoft Exchange Server’ reported error (0x00040820): ‘Errors in background synchronization’ ” error message be resolved?

I have been using MS Outlook for quite some time, but never faced any problem. Yesterday when I tried to add a new document to it has thrown “Task ‘Microsoft Exchange Server’ reported error (0x00040820): ‘Errors in background synchronization’ ” error message. What does it means? Is it anything related to the corruption of my PST file? Will I loose all my important data stored into it? Please help.

First, relax and don’t panic because you are not going to loose any of your important data. “Task ‘Microsoft Exchange Server’ reported error (0x00040820): ‘Errors in background synchronization’ ” error message is very common error message which is invoked by the memory manger of your PST file when it become oversized. The only thing that you have to do is split your PST file that’s it. You can perform this task by buying any Split PST File software either from the market or via internet. Install and launch it and show the path of your PST file. I automatically split it and store the PST files at your designated place in the computer. Easy isn’t it.
