Does the converters maintain the aspect ratio while converting the camcorders for iPods?

I am using Apple’s iPod Classic for 4 months. Now I want to add some camcorders video to it. But the problem is my iPod does not support the camcorder’s format that is MOD file format. So I want to change the MOD file to iPod compatible format, but I am afraid of the size of iPod’s screen because it is bit small and the size of the video is big. So, will the converter convert the MOD file according to the size of the iPod or some change in the aspect ratio is needed at the conversion time?

emilyjohnson 		Checking the aspect ratio for the conversion is an important point to consider while you are converting for your iPod. It is important because if you will not take this issue seriously then, it might be possible that you will loose the clarity of the picture and picture will look distorted. So maintaining the aspect ratio to 4:3 is very good point and if you are working on Mac systems then it is obvious that window based software’s will not work here, so you need to use any of the MOD Converter Mac from the market or from the internet to perform the conversion. sahilkumar 		Camcorder is meant to snap and shot the memorable pictures and video through it. But it supports MOD file format which is almost unplayable in any portable player. To solve this problem you need to convert the MOD file into your iPod compatible format, so that you can easily watch it later. For this you have to use any MOD Video Converter software that can convert your MOD file to other formats. Since the screen size of your iPod is small you need to change its aspect ratio to 4:3 because it is an ideal ratio for iPods and it will definitely work for you. I hope your problem is solved now.
