Error while updating Oracle 9i to Oracle 10g?

When I merged Oracle 9i to Oracle 10g, some of the data type mismatch and raised “data type mismatch error. I am getting exception java.sqlException: ORA-00932: conflicting datatypes:

ORA-06512: at “NBUAT_4.ROLLBACK_DOCUMENT”, line 17

ORA-06512: at line 2

These codes are working very simply in previous version?

Well, first you should check what data type you are using in Oracle 9i for the column ROLLBACK_DOCUMENT , if you got error then what you are trying to do. Whenever you to upgrade Oracle 9i software then you need to restore the database using 9i software or migrate the database using cold backup. These errors can corrupt your database and you can lose you data. So you must have any data recovery software that can recover you data easily. Today Oracle Repair software is available in market that can easily repair data base which is corrupted due to upgrading Oracle 9i to 10G. The software can recover and restore your database to specified location. Now you should not worry about any types of data corruption situation.
