How to backup the 5GB in size of Outlook PST file?

I used Outlook 2003 in which the PST file have reached almost 5 GB in size and it wont let me back up to the external hard drive, DVD or flash drive. What can I do which will make me enable to get it back? I have compacted it but it does not help me. I don’t want to lose all my emails as they are all important work data. Please give me a perfect suggestion.

Hi, I don’t think you need backup software. But I will give a suggestion that not make the PST file to go up to the 5 GB it will enormously cause the corruption of PST which will not allow to access to the file. Let us discuss about your problem. You need PST split software which help you to split the large size PST file into small size PST file and will easily help you access the file. Try to delete the unusual files, mails, contacts etc. which will help you a lot. It automatically shrinks the files size and folders to improve the quality and speed of Microsoft Outlook to ensure the better performance. You can confidently use the PST splitter software without taking any risk of the data loss from file.
