How to fix” The backup file is unusable” error message?

When I try to restore data or when I try to add data from a Microsoft Windows 2000 backup (.bkf) file, I am getting the error message: ” The backup file is unusable”. And there comes only the option of OK in dialog box. So, can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?

The main reason for this error message is that your backup file is corrupted or it might be not a valid Windows 2000 backup file format. If it’s corrupted then the backup file process not allows you to add or restore any data. So in order to fix the issue I think you need a repair the BKF file using the BKF repair software. Or you can restore the BKF file from another computer or storage media. With the assist of software program you can easily and efficiently repair your BKF files and restore all files to your desired location. So, I think you need to try out this software program in order to fix this issue… so just good luck!
