How to get disappeared pictures from the Lexar SDHC card?

I don't know how my pictures got deleted from Canon PowerShot SD 790 IS. The camera is being gifted by my father in my 17th birthday and I am using the card that I bought from the college depot on sale. Last night when I was taking some snaps of my friends, nothing is simply just showing. I have taken out the card and put it into the card reader still nothing is showing. Please help me to get back the lost photos. Is there any way out? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You have bought the memory card for your digital camera from a sale, are you nuts. It is the most critical thing in your digital photos, because it holds all the photos snapped by the digital camera. If the photos are not showing in the digital card then the possibility is quite strong that your card has got corrupted. In order to recover the photos from the memory card you need to use any photo recovery software. As you are using Mac system, so go for Photo Recovery for Mac software which will effectively recover the images and photos from the memory card and will save it in safe and secure place. Just use the software and see the magic.
