How to resolve “The data file ‘Personal Folders’ was not closed properly” error message while opening MS Outlook?

I have been working with MS Outlook since I joined the office. It is so easy to handle and manipulate. I mange all my works through it like mail management, contact management, notes management etc. and never faced many problems. But last night when I am working with it, I got “The data file ‘Personal Folders’ was not closed properly” error message. I have closed all my previous works in it properly then why this error? Please help me out if you know some thing about it.

soniyabedi 		Are you sure you have got “The data file ‘Personal Folders’ was not closed properly” error message while using MS Outlook 2007 in your system? I am asking you this question because the cause of this error message is effectively solved in 2007 version of MS Office. But if are sure then Scanpst.exe is simply incapable to fix this problem, you have to use any Outlook 2007 Repair tool from the market to solve this issue. I am sure it will work. Best of luck!

sahilkumar 		“The data file ‘Personal Folders’ was not closed properly” error message has not invoked due to improper closing of the MS Outlook rather it has invoked due to any corruption or defect in the PST file. Use Scanpst.exe tool to find or search the error and if it is minor then Scanpst.exe will efficiently solve it. But if the problem is major then you have to use any third party software for your Vista OS. Outlook PST Repair Vista software is my suggestion to you if you want to give it a try, otherwise there are many outlook repair software’s in the market that you can use to solve this error message.
