In order to restore a mailbox store to the Recovery Storage Group, follow the below mentioned steps:

•In the Exchange Server Manager, expand Administrative Groups and then expand Administrative Group Name and then expand Servers
•Click on the Recovery Storage Group by right clicking on the Server Name
•In the name box, type a name for the Recovery Storage Group
•Specify a location for the transaction log files and for the system path from the Transaction log location and System path location boxes and then click ok
•On the Recovery Storage Group that you created, right click it and then click Add Database to Server
•Click the mailbox store that you want to add to the Recovery Storage group from the Select database to recover dialog box.

Alternatively, if you want to avoid this lengthy manual process, you can go for the Exchange Server Recovery software that can very quickly restore a mailbox store to the Recovery Storage Group on its own.
