Is it possible to repair the instance failure post oracle database corruption?

I have been using Oracle database from quite a long period of time and nothing has wrong has happened to it. Last night I just owned the administrative privilege and attempted to mount the Oracle database using the following command –

“oradim -new -sid %ORACLE_SID% -pfile c:\path\to\your\init.ora.”

Soon after I executed the command, instead of instancing the starting up, an error message has popped stating that it could not be started. After that the database remains un-mountable and records become inaccessible. I don’t know what should I do to access those data and to rectify this issue. Please help me to resolve this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Since you have owned the administrative privilege to mount the Oracle database, I guess you don’t owned the sufficient privilege to start the instance of the database. That’s the reason why the parameter file could not be opened and due to database corruption operating system has crashed. In order to rectify this issue and to start the instance and access the database records just make sure that you have the sufficient privilege to perform this and must be of DBA group. Also ensure that parameter file should be at its default location. In case the database is corrupted and there is no backup then use any third party advanced Oracle Repair software and repair the database efficiently. This will surely resolve your issue.

All the best!
