Is recovery of lost data possible from Linux OS?

Due to abrupt power failure my system got shut down all of sudden, and from that time my document file is missing from the system, auto recovery is unable to bring it back as it is no where in the system I have also tried search mechanism, but these are not able to recognize and recover them. Is there any advanced data recovery software for Linux based systems.

Linux recovery software works in user friendly & interactive in nature and thus preferred by new as well as experienced users. It recovers EXT2 & EXT3 file systems along with ReiserFS file system. Linux data recovery is really advanced being equipped with sophisticated programming algorithm which first scans entire system for searching files, followed by its restoration in user defined location.
