The quality of the converted files in not up to the mark?

I used Xilisoft video converter to convert HD video (ts) to the ipod touch video (mp4). But the quality goes down. The pixels are moving. Can I have certain settings so that I can play my videos with no quality loss? I kept the audio and video at the highest. Is there any problem or should I use some other software?

IPod Touch supports the video resolution of the 640X480 pixels at 30 frames/ sec and the audio AAC up to the 160 kbps 48 kHz. If you are using the same resolution then try with the lower resolution as the 320X240. If again you are facing the same problem then it is better to try some other software like E. M. HD Video Converter. It is a powerful video converter that can easily converts your HD videos to ipod touch format. It provides very simple interface so it is very easy to use. Not this but you can also convert mkv to HD video, and DVD to HD video. You can set the parameters of the output video like frame rate, bit rate, aspect ratio, size of the video, etc.
