How to fix” The backup file is unusable” error message?

When I try to restore data or when I try to add data from a Microsoft Windows 2000 backup (.bkf) file, I am getting the error message: ” The backup file is unusable”. And there comes only the option of OK in dialog box. So, can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?

“File System is Damaged” Error in Windows XP While Starting?

I am using Windows XP operating system on my Compaq Presario notebook and today when I was starting the laptop, I got the following error message: “Action carried out: CHKDISK Status: Error: File system is damaged. Start: 5/28/2009 4:31:49 PM Finish: 5/28/2009 4:34:32 PM Duration (hh:mm:ss): 00:02:43 Volume data Serial number: B857-6A99 Device name: \Device\HarddiskVolume1 File system: NTFS Total space: 232.87 GB (250,048,479,232 bytes) Free space: 53.25 GB (57,179,824,128 bytes) Total clusters: 61,046,992 Free clusters: 13,959,918 Sectors / cluster: 8 Bytes / sector: 512...” As a result of which I am unable to access a single data stored in the hard drive. I have an important presentation to make next week and all the data is stored in the hard drive only. There is no backup and I really don’t know what to do. Can anybody help me out?

I have vista XP operating system. The NTFS file of XP operating system is crashed and is not executable. The file was really holding my sentiments in form of photos, pictures and lots more. How do I correct my NTFS file and recover those data from my XP. Suppose if ever I switch to vista then will your same suggestion for XP will help me?

Outlook 2GB file does not execute when opened. ?

I have a file whose volume is more than 2GB. If I try to open that it says utilize outlook repair tool……I then tried it many a time but I was unable to repair it. Please help me to crack such puzzle or tell about methods of accessing my large outlook file!

Memory “card error” appears when inserting the cards. ?

When I insert the memory card inside my digital camera an error appears on screen monitoring “card error”. When this error is displayed then option blinks to format the memory card. I can not do that because this can harm my photographs. What should I follow for photo recovery and to make my memory card work correctly? What are the reasons?

Yesterday I switched on my system, (which is windows XP home edition) after a long time, entered the user name and password, on pressing enter key, password field was emptied and a dialog box with the following error was shown by the side-‘did you forgot your password’ click “?” to see hint, although it could not help me, neither I have a reset disk to recover forgotten password, will I have to reinstall XP. Please help, it’s urgent.

I have tried hard to recover data which was lost due to corruption of drive I don’t think recovery of corrupted data is so easy, so please let me know about some proficient data recovery for recovering files from FAT file system of Windows XP?
