Unable in deleting files as trash is locked ?

I am unable to delete some mac files as trash bin has been locked. Can any one help me? How can I delete them? Is there any process, software or command to make use?

Getting prohibitory sign while booting Mac OS?

When I was playing around in iMovie then all of sudden it kept freeze and when I restarted the system I was getting a warning sign or prohibitory sign on Mac while booting. I have no idea what happened. Please help?

How to rectify ‘reserved fields in the catalog records have incorrect data’ error message of Mac?

I have been working with Mac systems for quite a long time. I am using Mac OS X 10.6 and faced not a single issue. But from couple of days my system is behaving abnormally and it restarts at periodic intervals. Last night I got an error messages which says ‘reserved fields in the catalog records have incorrect data’. I don’t what this error is all about. When I tried to run the Disk Utility it says the disk can not be fixed. I am totally blank about this error and don’t know what to do? Please help me to resolve this issue, any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can I resolve the Finder error 36 of Mac OS X?

I am using an iMac for quite a long time and have accomplished many tasks with it. Generally I work in my iMac and transfer the data to the flash drive and then share it with the co-workers. But from few days I am getting an error message when I drag any directory from my iMac to the flash drive. The error message says – “The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)” I don’t know what this finder is and at the same time when I run Disk Utility the same behavior is showing each time. Please help me to resolve this issue, any help or suggestion will be appreciated. Thank in advance.

Backup Software for dual boot MacBook Pro ?

I would like to find Software for MacBook Pro running OS X 10.5.7 and Window Vista Business. I want to do Backup on my 500 MB external drive and backup both the Windows and Mac partition in a step. I have“Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X” Software installed that allows me to read/write on Mac/Windows on internal hard drive or on external drives when booted in either in Mac or in Windows OS. Does Time Machine work here or any another backup program?

Insertion of pen drive lost data of Mac. ?

I was transferring some of data from my pen drive. When I inserted it every thing was alright but suddenly system shut down. Many a time I tried to boot it but the system was not booting. Then after some time Mac screen appeared but the data was no more on my system. Those data were very precious for me because some of them were official. How do I recover my official data?

When I was downloading some songs then with that songs virus also came. Then I run the antivirus program which with viruses deleted some of my important files on OSX. My OSX is also not working properly. My friend had told me that I can solve this problem with data recovery software. But I don’t know any of them. Can anyone help me?
