How to fix “No iPod connected” error?

I have iPod Touch (3rd generation, 64 GB). Everything was going right and iPod was performing well. But last night when connected my iPod to iTunes and clicked under preference option, I got an error message as “no iPod connected”. And, I didn’t access any files from my iPod. Can somebody tell me, “what happened and how can I access my iPod once again?”

Recovering of songs which got deleted from iPod while syncing to an empty iTunes. ?

I have around 5000 songs on my iPod Classic and I had decided it to add like films from a file on my computer. So in iTunes, I get add all the films on the ‘my iPod’ file and than only on syncing films I accidentally go into ‘SYNC’, everything on the iPod got lost and immediately my iTunes was empty. In a result I left with no songs. Even I don’t know that how these files can get retrieved. Is there any recovery program which can make the recovery of my entire songs?

I have lost my original music files. How I can create a backup file with my ipod?

I had stored approx. 500 songs in my computer. Due to hard drive corruption I had lost them. Still I have the same songs in my ipod. But I don’t have any original file on my computer. In iTunes library the songs are still there but I can’t play them as it said cannot find the original file. Again I can’t transfer the songs from my ipod to the iTunes library. How can I transfer the songs from my ipod to the computer?

I’m very fond of listening music, especially from my iPod. But I got my iPod break in an accident. With this I have lost my all latest and unique collection of songs. Can you suggest me any way with which I can get recover my entire lost music collection.

May I know about backup software for iPod?

My song collection is very precious for me and even with the imagination of loosing them I get depressed and it’s hard to wonder what will happen if I loose those, and the best way to prevent it is by backing up my iPod data, so suggest me some iPod backup software?

Can I transfer iPod files to PC?

I have a huge collection of songs in my iPod and whenever I get time I enjoy them as I carry it wherever I go and others in my house scarcely get time to listen songs, so I thinking to copy all iPod songs to system so that any one can listen them, is it possible.
